Hi, I'm Brendan Halsey, a 16 year old entrepreneur and the Founder of Louisa Connect. Growing up in Louisa County, I noticed that many people didn't know what resources were available to them or lacked the encouragement to seek help.

I created Louisa Connect to bridge that gap and make it easier for our community to find the support they need. I'm excited to serve Louisa County and help connect people with opportunities that can make a real difference in their lives.

Hello! My name is Virginia Blanchard. I am a mother to a wonderful son, Brendan. Before I married my husband last year, I was a single mother. I spent many years as a teenager and young adult troubled- I struggled with eating disorders, addictions, self-injury and bipolar.

After my son was born, I decided to become the person I knew I could be. I have spent the last ten years working and volunteering for residential housing and recovery programs. The last five years were spent life coaching individuals in a residential transitional housing program.

I have also earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology: Life Coaching from Liberty University. Besides my family, there is nothing more I love than helping individuals reach their greatest potential! I am honored to be a part of Louisa Connect and look forward to coaching individuals that are in need in Louisa County!
