The organization provides free medical services, material aid, spiritual and holistic support, and resources to women and families in Central Virginia. LifeSpring operates without government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of individuals in their community. The organization explicitly states that they are not an abortion provider and do not perform or refer for abortion services.

Comprehensive Medical Services

Free Pregnancy Testing:
LifeSpring provides free pregnancy tests for women who have missed their period or are experiencing pregnancy symptoms. These tests deliver results that are 99% accurate and are conducted with complete confidentiality. For those unsure about where to begin, the organization offers an online pregnancy quiz to help guide individuals through their initial concerns and questions.

Free Ultrasound Services:
The organization provides comprehensive ultrasound services that help confirm critical information needed before making pregnancy decisions. These ultrasounds determine two essential factors:

1. Pregnancy Viability: The ultrasound confirms whether the pregnancy is viable, meaning it is located inside the uterus and has a detectable heartbeat. In cases of non-viable pregnancies, such as miscarriages or ectopic pregnancies, different medical treatments may be required.

2. Gestational Age: The ultrasound accurately determines how far along the pregnancy has progressed. This information is crucial because Virginia state law has specific regulations regarding when abortion procedures are permitted. Additionally, the FDA has approved the abortion pill for use only up to 10 weeks of pregnancy, making gestational age determination vital for understanding available options.
