History:

• Established in 1876 by Scottish Presbyterians on a cliff overlooking the North Anna River
• Relocated in 1911 to its current site to prevent being submerged by Lake Anna, with ongoing land acquisitions for community expansion
• Engages in community service and assists individuals and families in immediate need, emphasizing a quick and generous response to local and regional requests.
