Fluvanna Food Pantry — MACAA

Mission: To feed families in Fluvanna County by providing access to nutritious, fresh, and non-perishable foods through a dignified, personalized shopping experience.

Services:

• Food assistance using a guest choice model, allowing clients to select foods that meet their dietary and cultural needs.
• Distribution of a five-day supply of emergency food items twice per month.
• Provision of fresh produce, dairy products, meats, and canned goods.
• Opportunities for community engagement through food drives and monetary donations.

Eligibility:

Residents of Fluvanna County seeking food assistance. No ID or proof of address is required to receive aid, but clients must complete an annual information form.

Program Details:

The pantry operates Monday through Friday from 11am to 1pm, with closures on specific Tuesdays. Clients can visit twice per month to receive food supplies. They may request prepared food boxes temporarily as part of program adjustments. Clients can authorize others to pick up food on their behalf with a signed notice.
