Mission and Overview

The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of business in Louisa County, building relationships, providing resources, and strengthening the local economy. Working in partnership with the Louisa Forward Foundation, the Chamber is dedicated to advancing economic vitality, business success, and community well-being throughout Louisa County.

Leadership Structure

The Chamber is guided by a dynamic team of dedicated leaders:

• Board of Directors: Provides strategic governance and oversight across both the Chamber and Louisa Forward Foundation
• Chamber Staff: Manages daily operations, member services, and program execution
• Project and Program Chairs: Member-volunteers who lead initiatives supporting business growth, workforce development, nonprofit collaboration, and community engagement

Executive Leadership

Tracy Hale Clark - Executive Director
Tracy has served as Executive Director of both the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce and the Louisa Forward Foundation since February 2019. With over 30 years of marketing experience, she has:
* Significantly enhanced the Chamber's impact and reach
* Led substantial growth in membership
* Nearly doubled the annual budget through improved programming and grants
* Created the Louisa Forward Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting Chamber initiatives
* Served on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE)
* Was named Chamber Executive of the Year by VACCE in August 2023

Sarah Close - Administrative Support
Sarah joined the Chamber with a strong background in administrative excellence and customer service, bringing experience from East Richland Christian Schools and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Malone University.
