Louisa Heroes

Mission: Louisa Heroes serves as the coordinating organization for all volunteer fire and EMS departments throughout Louisa County, Virginia, seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join their teams as volunteer firefighters, EMTs, EMS personnel, junior firefighters, support staff, or administrative members.

Services Offered:

The organization coordinates volunteer recruitment and support for nine different fire and rescue departments across Louisa County:

* Lake Anna Rescue
* Locust Creek Volunteer Fire Department
* Louisa County Rescue Squad
* Louisa Volunteer Fire Department
* Mineral Volunteer Fire Department
* Trevilians Volunteer Fire Department

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers can serve in various capacities including firefighter roles, EMT/EMS services, junior firefighter programs (ages 16-18), non-emergency administrative support, and associate/auxiliary positions. The organization provides comprehensive training and personal protective equipment (PPE) to all volunteers.

Eligibility:

The organization welcomes citizens of Louisa County and surrounding areas who are eager to serve their community, whether they are new to fire service or seasoned veterans. Different volunteer positions have varying requirements, with junior firefighter programs available for ages 16-18.
