Abide Village

Mission: Abide Village is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an inclusive, supportive, and sustainable housing community designed to meet the needs of low-income individuals and those with disabilities. The organization's mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive community where individuals of all abilities can live, work, and thrive while fostering an environment of acceptance, independence, and mutual support through affordable housing, employment opportunities, and community engagement.

Planned Development:

The planned development will consist of at least 30 tiny homes, with half designated for low-income residents and half for those with disabilities. This housing model is designed to provide affordable, accessible housing while creating a vibrant, multi-generational community.

Community Features:

• Community Center - Offering weekly activities for residents and community members
• Small Working Farm - Complete with a farm store for fresh produce and goods
• Bed and Breakfast with Tea Room - Providing hospitality services and community gathering space
• Walking Trails - For recreation and wellness activities
• Community Garden - Allowing residents to grow their own food and participate in sustainable practices

Employment Opportunities:

Job opportunities will be available for both residents and non-residents, fostering a sense of purpose, independence, and integration within the community. This employment component is designed to support the overall mission of creating a self-sustaining and thriving community.

Donations:

All donations to Abide Village are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The organization has partnered with ZEFFY for donations, ensuring that 100% of donations reach the organization with no fees deducted.
