Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) - Health Education about Food Allergy

Mission:
Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) is dedicated to improving the quality of life and health of individuals with food allergies, and to providing education and resources to help manage and prevent food allergy reactions.

Services Provided:

• Educational Seminars and Training: FARE staff conduct seminars and training sessions on food allergy and anaphylaxis for a wide range of audiences, including patients, school staff, government officials, health professionals, restaurant and industry leaders, and policymakers.
• Resource Distribution: The organization provides educational and informational materials to assist families living with food allergies. These materials include booklets and videotapes on topics such as shopping and cooking strategies, sending a child to school, handling birthday parties, and "How to Read A Label" cards.
• Awareness and Safety: FARE teaches individuals how to effectively manage food allergies, keep those with allergies safe, and reduce the number of food allergy reactions.
