About This Service

Mission:
Safe Harbor is dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual and/or intimate partner violence through a comprehensive range of services aimed at breaking the cycle of domestic abuse.

Services Provided:

  • 24-Hour Helpline: Immediate crisis support and information for survivors at any time.
  • Emergency Shelter: Temporary emergency housing for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence situations.
  • Counseling: Individual counseling services tailored to the needs of survivors.
  • Children/Youth Services: Specialized support and programming for children and youth affected by domestic violence.
  • Court Advocacy: Accompaniment, support, and advocacy for survivors navigating the criminal and/or civil justice systems.
  • Hospital Accompaniment: Support for survivors during medical visits related to abuse or assault.
  • Support Groups: Facilitated group sessions where survivors can process their experiences and connect with others in similar situations.
  • Community Education & Training: Educational presentations and training sessions to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence.

Approach and Collaboration:

A dedicated team works collaboratively with survivors to provide support, education, and referrals, empowering them to meet their personal goals. Safe Harbor operates as a partnership of non-profit agencies united by the goal of ending domestic abuse.
