Joyful Voices Chorus at Salisbury Presbyterian Church

Mission:
Joyful Voices Chorus is dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging choral experience for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias and their caregivers.

Program Overview

• Community Chorus: The program is a community chorus specifically designed for singers living with Alzheimer's or other dementias, as well as their caregivers. It fosters social engagement and emotional well-being through music.
• Choral Experience: Participants unite for regular rehearsals and perform in two public concerts each year, offering a unique opportunity for creative expression and community involvement.
• Support Group: Joyful Voices Chorus also functions as an Early Stages Support Group in partnership with the Greater Richmond Alzheimer’s Association, providing additional resources and support for participants and their families.
