Mission: Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical companionship and support services to seniors, aiming to enhance quality of life and promote independence.

Services Provided

• Companionship: Includes conversation, playing stimulating games, escorting to lunch or dinner, visiting neighbors or friends, letter writing, reading, reminiscing about the past, renting and playing movies, religious readings, attending plays, concerts, or sporting events, attending religious services, planning outings, visits, and trips, and discussing current events.
• Flexible Scheduling: Services are available on an hourly or overnight basis to accommodate various needs.
• Respite Care: Offers relief for family caregivers by providing temporary care for seniors.

Caregiver Standards

• All caregivers are bonded, insured, trained, supervised, and screened, including criminal background checks, to ensure safety and professionalism.

Service Area & Eligibility

• Services are available to seniors in their homes, long-term care facilities, or hospitals. While the physical office is located in Glen Allen, VA, the program is accessible to residents in Louisa County and surrounding areas, subject to availability.
• This is not a nursing service and does not provide medical care.
