Dibert Food Pantry

Mission:
Dibert Food Pantry, operated by Commonwealth Catholic Charities, has been dedicated to combating hunger and food insecurity in the Richmond area for over 25 years.

Services Provided:

• Emergency Food Assistance:
• Provides food to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
• Recipients may receive food once within a 30-day period.
• Food Distribution:
• Offers a variety of non-perishable food items including canned soup, Chef Boyardee meals, canned fruit or fruit cups, spaghetti sauce, pasta, oatmeal, peanut butter, and snacks such as granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, and popcorn/chips.
• Supplies quick-fix meals suitable for homeless individuals (e.g., canned goods with pop tops, tuna packs, cup o noodles, individual mac-n-cheese).
• Hygiene Products:
• Accepts and distributes toilet paper and hygiene products to those in need.

Donation Information:

• Individuals can drop off donations during food pantry hours.
• The pantry welcomes both food and hygiene product donations.
• Large donation drives can be coordinated by contacting the organization.

Eligibility & Service Area:

• Open to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
• Recipients may access food once every 30 days.
• While primarily serving the Richmond area, the pantry is accessible to residents from surrounding regions, including Louisa County.
