Mission:
St. Alban's Anglican Catholic Church Food Pantry aims to extend the church's outreach into the community by providing food assistance to individuals and families in need.

Services Provided:

• Weekly Food Distribution: The pantry is open every Wednesday from 12 PM to 2 PM, offering grocery bags of food to eligible clients.
• Partnership with Feed More: As a partner agency of Feed More (Central Virginia Foodbank), the pantry is able to purchase groceries at reduced prices, ensuring a steady supply of food for distribution.
• Donations: Parishioners contribute shelf-stable food items and grocery bags, which supplement the pantry's offerings.

Who Is Served:

• Individuals and families referred by Central Virginia Foodbank (Feed More) member agencies
• Individuals and families brought by social workers
• Individuals seeking food on a one-time basis

Eligibility & Service Area:

• The pantry specifically serves clients residing in zip codes 23226, 23227, and 23228.

Operations:

• Volunteers pick up food orders from Feed More early each Wednesday, stock shelves and refrigerators, dispose of packaging, distribute food, and record the number of clients served.

Additional Information:

• The pantry relies on both purchased and donated food items.
• Donations of shelf-stable food and grocery bags are accepted in a designated basket at the church.
