About This Service

This community fridge is a shared space dedicated to reducing waste and supporting local needs. To ensure safety and fairness, please follow these guidelines:

Donations & Items:
- Label all items with ingredients, packing date, expiration date, and potential allergens (dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, wheat/gluten, soy, tree nuts).
- Fresh produce, pantry items, and general refrigerated foods are welcome.
- Do not leave items that do not fit or are unsuitable outside the fridge; consider donating to alternative locations to prevent waste.
- Only homemade non-perishable or dry foods are accepted.
- Do not leave raw meat, raw fish, alcohol, opened or partially eaten foods, expired or moldy items, or unlabeled prepared meals.

Prepared Meals:
- Follow labeling guidelines, including allergens and date of preparation.
- Wear gloves and a mask when preparing and handling meals.
- Homemade meals should be labeled with the cooking/packaging date and are generally best consumed within 3-4 days.

Important Reminders:
- Do not place items requiring refrigeration in the pantry area.
- Please respect the community space by donating appropriate items and adhering to these guidelines to minimize waste and ensure safety for all users.
