Mission: Liberation Church is committed to loving people, showing kindness, and serving change by providing holistic solutions to community crises such as homelessness, hunger, and unemployment. The organization aims to be a safe haven for the city of Richmond and beyond, including surrounding regions.

Core Services and Programs:

• Food Pantry:
• Open every Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.
• No pre-qualifications required; walk-ups are welcome.

• Designed to address food insecurity in the community.

• Early Childhood Learning Center (in partnership with YMCA of Greater Richmond):

• Serves children ages 3 years old to pre-K.
• Focuses on life skills, supervised play, physical activity, crafts, arts, STEM, and socialization.
• Comprehensive curriculum supports kindergarten readiness.
• Financial assistance options are available for qualifying families.

• Open to all families, emphasizing inclusivity and quality childcare.

• Veterans Services (LVS):

• Provides a safe haven exclusively for veterans in crisis.
• Offers transitional and rapid rehousing.
• Includes personalized counseling and rehabilitation support.

• Focuses on dignity, respect, and successful reintegration into the community.

• Community Store:

• Accepts donations and offers scheduled pick-ups.
• Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10AM – 6PM (closed Sunday).

• Liberation Church addresses four pillars of poverty: low-income housing, poor-performing schools, homelessness, and unemployment/financial illiteracy.
• The organization’s ministries and programs are designed to provide spiritual support and practical assistance.
