Forest Hill Little Pantry

Mission: The Forest Hill Little Pantry is a community outreach initiative operated by Forest Hill Presbyterian Church that serves as a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to address immediate and local food needs in the community.

Program Overview:

This mini pantry operates on a simple "give what you can or take what you need" principle, designed to strengthen the community by nourishing neighborhoods and providing accessible food assistance. The pantry is part of the broader mini pantry movement that connects those who have resources with those who need them.

Services Provided:

• 24/7 Food Access: Community members can access non-perishable food items at any time from the outdoor pantry box
• Food Donations: Accepts unopened, non-perishable canned and boxed food items
• Community Support: Serves both those needing food assistance and those wanting to contribute to their community

How It Works:

Community members can either donate food items by placing them directly in the pantry box or take food items as needed. The pantry operates on an honor system with no eligibility requirements or paperwork needed.

Donation Drop-off Options:

• Place items directly in the outdoor pantry box at any time
• Drop off donations at the church office during business hours
• Bring donations on Sunday mornings during worship times

Office Hours for Donations:

• Tuesday through Friday: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Sunday mornings: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The initiative emphasizes community participation and mutual support, encouraging both giving and receiving as forms of community engagement and blessing.
