Computers for Learning

Mission:
The Computers for Learning (CFL) Program is a federal initiative designed to transfer excess computer equipment from federal agencies to schools and educational nonprofit organizations. The program aims to promote educational excellence by providing students and educators with access to modern technology resources.

Services Provided:

• Donation of Excess Federal Computer Equipment: The CFL program facilitates the transfer of surplus computers and related equipment from federal agencies to eligible recipients.
• Support for Educational Institutions: Public, private, and parochial schools serving pre-kindergarten through grade 12, as well as educational nonprofit organizations, can receive equipment to enhance their technology infrastructure.
• Online Application Portal: Eligible organizations can register and request equipment through the CFL website.

Who They Serve:

• Schools: Public, private, and parochial schools (pre-K through 12th grade) are eligible to participate.
• Educational Nonprofit Organizations: Nonprofits with a primary mission of education are eligible to receive equipment.

• Organizations must register and be approved through the CFL online system.
