About This Service

Mission:
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) provide in-person tax help and support for individuals and businesses needing assistance with federal tax matters.

Services Provided:

  • In-Person Tax Help: Assistance with tax questions, account inquiries, and resolving tax issues.
  • Document Verification: Help with verifying identity and reviewing tax documents.
  • Tax Return Assistance: Guidance on filing, amending, or correcting tax returns.
