Mission:
Union Privilege, operating as Union Plus, is a nonprofit organization established by the AFL-CIO in 1986. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for working families by providing a comprehensive suite of consumer benefit programs exclusively for union members (both current and retired) and their families.

Governance and Structure

Union Plus is governed by a volunteer board of directors composed of top union leaders from over 60 international unions and is chaired by the AFL-CIO president. Staff are union members themselves, ensuring alignment with the needs and values of the labor movement.
