Mission:
CareerOneStop is a comprehensive national resource sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. Its mission is to deliver integrated, easy-to-understand workforce information that helps job seekers, students, workers, workforce intermediaries, and employers develop their capacity and make sound economic decisions in the new economy.

CareerOneStop serves a broad audience including job seekers, students, workers, workforce intermediaries, and employers across the United States. This includes residents of Louisa County, VA and surrounding regions, as all services are accessible online and through affiliated local centers.

• Job Search: National job listings, resume builders, and job search strategies.
• Find Local Help: Directory of local American Job Centers and workforce services, including locations accessible to Louisa County residents.
• Business Center: Support for employers in hiring, training, and retaining a strong workforce.
• GetMyFuture: Specialized resources for young adults ages 14 to 24, including career, training, and job search support.
• Justice-Impacted Job Seekers: Tools and resources for individuals with a criminal record to explore careers, get training, and find employment.
• mySkills myFuture: Assistance for laid-off workers and career changers to identify new career options based on existing skills.
• Veteran and Military Transition Center: Employment, training, and financial resources for veterans transitioning to civilian life.
