Mission:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond is dedicated to fueling the boundless potential in young people to ensure they are life and career ready. The organization is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity and has served the community for over 70 years.

Who They Serve:

• Youth ages 11-24
• Services are accessible to youth in the Metro Richmond area, including those from surrounding counties such as Louisa County, VA

Core Services and Programs:

• Year-Round, Out-of-School Time Programs:
• After-school programs during the school year (hours vary by location)
• Full-day summer programs
• Safe and Enriching Spaces:
• Clubs provide a haven for youth after school, offering both physical and psychological safety
• Facilities remain open as late as 7:30 p.m. at some locations
• Academic and Personal Development:
• Homework help
• Skill-building activities
• Opportunities for leadership and confidence development
• Mentorship and Relationship Building:
• Long-term commitment to youth, with mentors focused on building strong, lasting relationships

Locations:

• Six Clubs and one Teen & Community Center, including sites at MLK, Jr. Middle School, Southside, Northside, Petersburg, River City Middle School, Lucille Brown Middle School, and a dedicated Teen & Community Center
