About This Service
Mission: St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is dedicated to serving the spiritual, social, and practical needs of the greater Richmond community and beyond, including residents of Louisa County and surrounding areas.
Services and Ministries:
- Worship & Music: Offers regular worship services, music programs, and prayer opportunities, both in-person and online.
- Pastoral Care: Provides support through all stages of life, including baptism, confirmation, marriage, and burial rites, as well as pastoral counseling and emergency support.
- Outreach: Engages in community outreach initiatives, including food assistance, health and wellness programs, and recovery groups.
- Children & Youth: Runs programs for children and youth, including educational opportunities, scouting, and youth leadership development.
- Community Programs: Hosts a weekly farmers market, a community café, and the May Fair House resale shop, all open to the public.
- Adult Ministries: Offers adult education, fellowship, racial healing, and creation care initiatives.
St. Stephen’s is part of the Diocese of Virginia and welcomes individuals and families from a wide region, including Louisa County, to participate in its worship, programs, and community services.
Hours of Operation
Parish office: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; May Fair House: Tue-Fri, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon; Sunday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Farmers Market: Saturdays, 8 a.m.-noon (May-September), 9 a.m.-noon (October-April)
