Mission: Feeding Greene, Inc. envisions a future where its pantry serves as a bridge to greater stability, health, and a stronger tomorrow, ensuring that no one faces hunger alone.

Services:

• Client Choice Program: Families can shop for their own food in a grocery store-like setting, with a stoplight system to help make informed, healthy choices. Food sampling and nutrition education are provided, with support from the Extension Office and local Free Clinic for health screenings and diabetes education.
• Backpack Program: Delivers weekly bags of easy-to-prepare food to children in public schools and Head Start, ensuring nutritional needs are met over weekends.
• Home Delivery Program: Provides twice-monthly food deliveries to elderly, disabled, and homebound individuals, with emergency deliveries available. Special partnerships ensure families affected by COVID receive food and cleaning supplies during illness and quarantine.
