About This Service
Mission:
Teen Line provides support, resources, and hope to young people through a hotline staffed by professionally trained teen counselors, as well as outreach programs that de-stigmatize and normalize mental health challenges.
Services:
- Confidential Hotline: Teens can call, text, or email to connect with trained teen listeners for support on issues such as loneliness, abuse, suicide, family, relationships, and more.
- Caregiver Resources: Offers information and guidance for parents and caregivers to understand and support adolescent mental health, including recognizing warning signs and myths about teen behavior.
- School & Community Outreach: Provides resources and educational programs for schools and youth organizations to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Message Board: An online space for teens to read and participate in discussions about mental health and related topics.
Accreditation: Teen Line is accredited as a Crisis Center by the American Association of Suicidology and is a program of Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Teen Line serves teens nationwide, including those in Louisa County, VA, and is accessible regardless of location.

6 PM - 10 PM PST (Hotline); 6 PM - 9 PM PST (Text Line) Every Night
