About This Service
Mission: To provide medical care and temporary care for dogs and cats pending their placement in loving homes, and to implement innovative programs to rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in Culpeper County.
Services:
- Animal adoption and fostering
- Medical care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and health monitoring
- Community outreach and education
- Pet food assistance through Pet Pantry for low-income families
- Support for unchained dogs, including free supplies and veterinary care
- Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs for feral cats
- Owner surrender intake and assistance
The organization is a 501(c)(3) no-kill, all-volunteer group that does not operate a physical shelter facility but relies on foster homes to care for animals.
