About This Service

Mission: To maintain and enhance a strong, effective, and efficient national network of AT Act Programs, enabling individuals with disabilities and others to access assistive technology (AT) for education, employment, and community living.

Services:

  • Facilitates coordination of state and territory AT Act Programs nationally
  • Provides technical assistance and support to members
  • Promotes the effectiveness of AT Act Programs at all levels
  • Serves as a national advocate and representative for AT Act Programs
  • Supports research and demonstration projects to increase access to AT
  • Advocates for reauthorization and increased federal funding for the AT Act

Goals:
- Enhance the effectiveness of AT Act Programs
- Provide a forum for deliberation and resource sharing
- Serve as an advisory body to federal agencies
- Promote access to assistive technology for individuals with disabilities
