Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to repairing homes and revitalizing communities for people in need. Their mission is "Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives" with a vision of "Safe homes and communities for everyone."
Programs:
- Building a Healthy Neighborhood - Multi-year commitments to target neighborhoods to improve homes and strengthen community infrastructure
- Disaster Readiness and Recovery - Support for families affected by natural disasters
- Safe at Home - Home modifications for older adults and people with disabilities
- Veterans at Home - Repairs and modifications for veterans and their families
- She Builds - Critical repairs for women-headed households and women-focused community spaces
Rebuilding Together works through a network of local affiliates across the country who collaborate with community residents, leaders, volunteers, and funders to address housing needs based on the Eight Principles of Healthy Homes.
