Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC) is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric utility serving 14 counties in Central Virginia, including Louisa County. CVEC provides reliable electric power and broadband internet services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life in the communities they serve by delivering essential utility services and supporting local initiatives.

- Electric Service: Start, stop, or move electric service for homes and businesses.
- Broadband Internet: High-speed internet access through Firefly Fiber Broadband.
- Outage Management: 24/7 outage reporting, outage maps, and safety resources.
- Billing & Payment Assistance: Multiple payment options, account management tools, and assistance programs for those in need.
- Energy Efficiency: Resources, tips, and programs to help members save energy and reduce costs.
- Community Support: Scholarships, educational demonstrations, and community engagement initiatives.
Members can access account management online or via a mobile app, and receive alerts about usage and outages.

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
