Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington

Mission: Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington is dedicated to serving the poor, lonely, and vulnerable throughout Northern and Central Virginia, including Louisa County residents.

Services Provided:

• Food Assistance: Multiple food pantries and meal programs to address hunger.
• Housing Support: Transitional housing for men, pregnant or single mothers, and families; rent and utility assistance; mobile response for basic household needs.
• Healthcare: Free medical clinics and mental health counseling, including opioid addiction response.
• Pregnancy & Adoption: Support for unplanned pregnancies, adoption services, and resources for adoptive parents.
• Immigrant & Refugee Services: Legal assistance, refugee resettlement, English and citizenship classes, and other support programs.
• Education & Employment: Job ministry, workforce training, and job coaching.
• Other Assistance: Senior services, clothing closet, prison ministry, and sober living support.

Catholic Charities partners with parishes and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for all in need, regardless of background or faith. Many services are accessible to Louisa County residents through regional programs and mobile outreach.
