About Us

The St. Faustina Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic community based in Spotsylvania, VA, affiliated with St. Matthew and St. Patrick Churches. Inspired by Gospel values, the organization is dedicated to building a more just world through personal relationships and service to those in need. Their mission is to provide compassionate, respectful, and supportive assistance to individuals and families facing hardship.

Services Provided

• Home Visits: Volunteers meet with those in need to assess and address their unique situations.
• Assistance Programs: Help with clothing, food, shelter, transportation, education, and job support.
• Financial Aid: Limited financial assistance for urgent needs such as rent, utilities, or medical expenses.
• Holiday Giving: Special programs for holidays, including food baskets and gifts for children.
• Partnerships: Collaboration with Catholic Charities and other local agencies to maximize support.

While the primary service area is Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania, residents from other areas (including Louisa County) are encouraged to call or use Virginia 211 for referral to the nearest St. Vincent de Paul conference.
