About This Service
Mission: Holy Comforter Catholic Church is dedicated to serving the spiritual and practical needs of the greater Charlottesville area, including Louisa County residents. The parish is committed to outreach through social ministry, education, and community support.
Services & Ministries:
- Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen: Provides food assistance and hot meals to individuals and families in need.
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Holy Trinity Conference: Offers direct aid, financial support, and resources for those facing hardship.
- Walking with Moms In Need Ministry: Supports pregnant women and mothers with resources and guidance.
- Works of Mercy Ministry: Engages in various charitable activities for the elderly, poor, and marginalized.
- Christian Formation: Includes adult and children’s religious education, youth ministry, and intergenerational events.
- Sacramental Support: Baptism, marriage, anointing of the sick, funerals, and spiritual counseling.
All are welcome to seek assistance or participate in parish life, regardless of religious background. Louisa County residents are eligible for services.
