About This Service

Mission: NAMI is dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Services:

  • NAMI HelpLine: Provides free, confidential support and information about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local resources. Available by phone, text, and online chat.
  • Support Groups: Offers peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental illness and their families, providing a safe space to share experiences and coping strategies.
  • Education Programs: Delivers evidence-based education for individuals, families, and communities to increase understanding and reduce stigma around mental health.
  • Advocacy: Works at the national, state, and local levels to advocate for mental health policy reform and increased access to care.
  • Resources: Publishes guides, webinars, podcasts, and a video library on mental health topics.
