Mission: Renaissance School is dedicated to providing an excellent college preparatory high school education for high-ability students seeking a small, intimate learning environment with outstanding faculty.

Who They Serve:

• High school students in grades 9-12, including those who may benefit from a traditional four-year or expanded five-year program.
• Students from Charlottesville and surrounding regions, including Louisa County, VA.

• Student-Centered Approach: Small class sizes and inspiring faculty allow for a tailored academic experience, fostering independence, growth mindset, self-advocacy, and ownership of education.
• Flexible Programs: Offers both four-year and five-year graduation tracks to accommodate elite athletes, accelerated learners, twice-exceptional students, and those needing flexibility for health or personal reasons.
• Challenging Curriculum: Requires 33 credits for graduation, with students typically taking 8-10 courses per year.
• Signature Programs: Includes college counseling, arts, athletics (such as a triathlon team), and support for high-ability and twice-exceptional students.
• Community Engagement: Encourages volunteerism, parent involvement, and offers a variety of student clubs and extracurricular activities.
