Mission: To Inform, Enrich, and Empower the community through access to information, resources, and programs.

Services:

• Books & Media: Extensive collection of books, e-books, audiobooks, and multimedia resources for all ages.
• Events & Programs: Regular events for children, teens, and adults, including storytimes, literacy programs, concerts, and community discussions.
• RVA Reads: Early literacy initiative connecting young children with books and supporting school readiness, active in daycares and preschools.
• Richmond Room & Memory Lab: Access to business, law, nonprofit resources, genealogy, and local history collections.
• Technology Access: Public computers, internet access, and digital literacy support.
• Volunteer & Internship Opportunities: Programs for community members and college students to engage with and support library services.

The Richmond Public Library welcomes all residents of the region, including those from Louisa County (fee for library card), to utilize its resources and participate in its programs.
